The Official Migration of EMToast: New Mirrored Sites are Live

The new mirrored version of EMToast is live at emtoast.pages.dev. Check out the full history on our new About page.

The History of EMToast

EMToast was founded in 2008 and lived at emtoast.com for more than fifteen nonsensical years. That domain has since been retired from the project and is no longer under our control.

The Project Today

The current iteration of EMToast has been rebuilt for the age of digital volatility. It is now a decentralized collection of mirrored static sites. We’ve distributed our absurd world news, art of the folked, curious ideas, odd products, and short fiction across multiple platforms to ensure that even if one corner of the internet collapses, the absurdity remains.

The EMToast Mission

To preserve the "F@cked Up Toast" legacy and provide a resilient home for content that is too strange to die.

EMToast Hub

The central index and navigation point for all EMToast sites and resources.

Current Structure

The current, active version of EMToast. This is where new content is published.

EMToast Classic (Archive 2008–2023)

A static archive of the original EMToast site has been preserved separately as “EMToast Classic.”

Header Design Contest for EMToast.exe Blog

I'm not much of an artist, so I enlisted the help of some AI's to create a fresh version of the old dotcom sites header image (first one in gallery) for the EMToast.exe blog

I wanted a a new version of the pixel-art two women holding toast image that the old dotcom site used as a header in the final days.  There were so many to choose from, I couldn't bear to delete them so here's a gallery.

When Websites Become Unstoppable Viruses!

No single platform failure takes it down.

The EMToast Mission

To preserve the "F@cked Up Toast" legacy and provide a resilient home for content that is too strange to die.  The infrastructure has changed. The mission hasn't.

EMToa.st: The New Home

The official successor of EMToast.com and the primary location for all new content.

EMToast (pronounced “E M Toast” — or phonetically, “ee em toast”) is the spoken name of the site. The actual web address is EMToa.st, so if you’re saying it out loud, the clearest version is: “Visit EMToast — that’s E-M-T-O-A dot S-T.” In other words: EMToast = EMToa.st.

EMToast Hub

The central index and navigation point for all EMToast sites and resources.

Current Mirror Structure

Mirrors of EMToast designed to survive long after the primary domain is gone.

EMToast Classic (Archive 2008–2023)

A standalone static site mirrored across Cloudflare, GitHub, and Neocities — fifteen years of "F@cked Up Toast" history, protected from link rot and the general entropy of the web, including comments.

EMToast Complete Ebook (2008–2023)

A full export of the EMToast WordPress archive (2008–2023) compiled into a single PDF containing 2600+ pages of posts, stories, images, and site content, preserved as a standalone archival snapshot of the EMToast Classic era for offline reference and long-term preservation.
